Matthew Sirovich is managing director of Scopia Capital LLC, a New York based investment management firm that was established in 2001 and has been registered as an investment adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission since 2003. The Scopia Capital investment style combines fundamentally focused, deep due diligence and a concentrated portfolio of high conviction long and short positions with the discipline of market neutrality. As of November 30th 2008, Scopia had $600 million in assets under management and14 employees.
